About JOMAUS University Scholarships

Julia & Othniel Malau-Aduli at The Cenotaph, Domain, Hobart City, Tasmania, Australia (2010)

Julia & Othniel Malau-Aduli were very passionate about educating the male and female child.

Both passed away in 2021 – Julia on January 3, and Othniel on September 14. In memory of their legacy and a desire to sustain this passion, the Julia & Othniel Malau-Aduli University Scholarship (JOMAUS) was established on February 18, 2022, as a for-no-profit family trust, with 17 inaugural scholarships awarded.

The main purpose of JOMAUS is to promote the advancement of tertiary education, careers, innovations and relieve poverty in remote rural settings by providing University undergraduate degree scholarships for Richa indigenous young people in particular, from financially disadvantaged backgrounds to study for a Bachelor degree at any well recognized Nigerian first degree-awarding University.
